South Texas Lyric Opera opens the 2014-2015 season with an unforgettable

performance!

South Texas Lyric Opera has been invited to participating in the International Museum of Art and Science (IMAS) Collage 2014: A Legacy of Generosity this Saturday evening. We are delighted and grateful to have this wonderful opportunity to perform at the IMAS Collage.

The coordination of Dr. Mazias de Oliveira, artistic director of the South Texas Lyric Opera, and the generous Interim Executive Director of the International Museum of Art and Science, Ms. Danella Hughes, will yield a night to remember!

South Texas Lyric Opera will be featured during the International Museum of Art and Science (IMAS) Collage 2014: A Legacy of Generosity this Saturday evening. STLO will be starring the gifted and exceptional local talent of the RGV. Soprano Renea Henry, soprano Dr. Eliana Ochoa, tenor Aaron Barber, and tenor Dr. Mazias deOliveira will be singing selections from Puccini’s Tosca,Mozart’s The Magic Flute (Die Zauberflöte), Don Giovanni, Sorozábal’s La Tabernera del Puerto, and Verdi’s La Traviata showcasing their spectacular talent in the area of lyric opera. Our superb pianist and orchestra for the night is Ms. Amy Barret, who has participated with STLO on numerous occasions.
